Hundreds Attend Middlesex County Career Fair
The event was held earlier this week and featured 52 companies that participated in recruiting job seekers.
MIDDLETOWN, CT - From the desk of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce: The Connecticut Labor Department, Workforce Alliance and the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce co-sponsored the Middlesex County Job and Career Fair at the Radisson Hotel Cromwell, at 110 Berlin Road, Cromwell, CT on June 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
52 Companies including Pratt & Whitney, Electric Boat, and Stanley Black & Decker participated in recruiting job seekers. Hundreds of job candidates attended the fair connecting employers to qualified job candidates.
“We are thankful to have a strong partnership with the Connecticut Labor Department, Workforce Alliance to help connect jobseekers with Connecticut-based companies. These fairs help develop the Connecticut workforce which are the foundations to an even stronger economy,” said President of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Larry McHugh.
