Kitchen Fire Extinguished In Middletown
One person was treated for a "medical emergency," according to fire officials.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — One person was treated for a “medical emergency” after a kitchen fire Thursday morning in Middletown, according to officials.
Firefighters responded to a report of a residential smoke alarm on Huber Avenue. First-arriving units found a kitchen fire, which was quickly extinguished, officials wrote in a post on the City of Middletown Professional Firefighters Local 1073 union’s Facebook page.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, officials said.
