Support Climate Action
On Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m., Middletown’s Common Council will consider the Resolution Declaring A Climate Emergency. You may read about this resolution, download the text, and sign a petition in support of the resolution here. You may email all members of the Common Council at council@middletownct.gov and Mayor Florsheim at mayor@middletownct.gov expressing your hope that the resolution will not only be adopted, but that it will be followed by bold, meaningful action to address the climate emergency our world faces. We hope many will attend the WebEx Council meeting via the link that will be provided with the agenda, which should be posted here.

Bicycle-Pedestrian Improvements
The Newfield Corridor Trail will be on the agenda of Middletown’s Public Works and Facilities Commission, hosted on WebEx on Wed. Sept. 9, at 6:30 p.m. The public meeting link will be available on the meeting agenda when it is posted here on the City’s website. To view the various route options, click here.
