Malloys Make Offer On House: Report
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has been house shopping for when the time comes to move out of the governor's mansion.

With his days as governor coming to an end, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will have a new address in six months. For those wondering if Malloy and first lady Cathy Malloy would be fleeing Connecticut when they move out of the governor’s mansion in Hartford, a new report by the Hartford Courant says the Malloys will be staying in the state when they are private citizens.
The Courant reports that the Malloys have made an offer on a four-bedroom, three-bath, home in Essex that has private access to the Connecticut River.
The home is listed for $595,000 and went on the market in March for $648,000, according to the Connecticut Post.
