The 2-month-old baby suffered serious injuries and was most recently in intensive care at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, according to police. The baby was suffering from bleeding on the brain and markings on their neck appeared to be from strangulation, according to the police report.
Bruises were also found on the baby’s head and ankles along with injuries to their mouth and throat and scrapes on their face, according to police. The baby underwent tests to evaluate possible internal injuries and doctors were reviewing the “potential for trauma to internal organs, brain and spine,” the police report states.
