Man Killed In Double Shooting In Middletown: Police
Police said the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no risk to the public.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — A man has died after being shot late Monday night in Middletown, according to police.
Police responded to an address in Middletown around 11 p.m. on the report of gunshots. Police didn’t immediately disclose the area where the shooting occurred.
Responding officers found that two people had been shot and both were taken to Middlesex Hospital where the man died from his injuries, according to police.

Police said the other person involved, a woman, was also injured in the shooting and was listed in stable condition as of Tuesday morning.
Police are not releasing the identities of the people involved at this time.

“This is an isolated incident and there is no risk to the public,” police said in a news release. “This is an ongoing investigation.”
