Middletown Man Tried To Rob Pizzeria At Gunpoint: Cromwell Police

The owner of the pizzeria disarmed the man and chased him around the restaurant until an employee apprehended him, according to a report.

CROMWELL, CT — Colton Balskus, 21, of Middletown, is accused of trying to rob a pizzeria in Cromwell at gunpoint on Sunday night, according to the Hartford Courant.

The Courant reports the owner of Wooster Pizza, 77 Berlin Rd., disarmed Balskus and chased him around the restaurant until an employee apprehended him. They restrained Balskus until police arrived, according to the Courant.

Police said the gun was an Airsoft BB gun and no serious injuries were reported, according to the Courant.
