How did you come up with the name?

We opened in Cromwell in 1993 but have since moved to Middletown.

Why start a business in this town?

I grew up here and played sports in the area and feel like my roots are here.

What business are you in?

We teach kenpo karate, modern arnis, weapons, and produce and sell home training DVD’s. Other great classes
are offered as well such as basic self defense, karate birthday parties, and belly dancing!

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

Balancing work, family, and personal time!

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?

Reaching our 20 year milestone in business!

How does your business give back to the community?

We have supported groups such as The American Cancer Society, The American Diabetes Association, St. Jude Hospital, and many additional community groups and events. We have also offered karate scholarships.
