Middletown Top Business Nominee: Your Closet Or Mine

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown Patch recently asked readers to nominate their favorite local business for Business of the Year. Many Middletown businesses have managed to navigate the turbulence of 2020 with steadfast determination and an unwavering commitment to the clients they serve.

Your Closet or Mine, a consignment boutique at 541 Washington St., received more than 30 nominations from loyal customers. The 3,000-square-foot store is “always filled to each corner with Clothing for Women, Men, Children, Jewelry, Handbags, Furniture, Home Goods, books, DVDs, and More,” according to a post on Facebook.

“We pride ourselves on good customer service,” owner Lexie Conlin said. “Our customers come in as customers and leave as a friend. We provide quality items at a great price that people can afford. Especially in times as we are doing in now.”

“We treat our customers like they are family!” said Marisa Conlin, Lexie’s daughter.

Customers of the store had numerous glowing comments about the shop. Some of the comments are listed below:

All the staff are so welcoming and make you feel like you’ve known them your whole life! If you ever feel down this is definitely the place to shop at!
