MIDDLETOWN, CT — Emergency crews responded to a “serious” motorcycle accident Sunday night in Middletown, according to fire officials.

Newfield Street is closed at Westfield Street until further notice, officials wrote in a post on the City of Middletown Professional Firefighters Local 1073 union’s Facebook page around 9:30 p.m.
