The hike will likely include different routes than previous years due to storm damage and social distancing requirements. We will be covering woodland trails and roadways, some of which have some short steep sections. The trip should last until approximately 11:30AM.
Wear hiking shoes, bring a snack and water.
Directions: from Randolph Road (Route 155), turn south onto Millbrook Road. Follow Millbrook for 1.5 miles and take fifth right onto Livingston Road. After 0.2 miles, turn right into the park at Crystal Lake. Once in the park, take a left and continue around the lake to end of the parking lot. (GPS address: 250 Livingston Road).
You must email me if you are planning to join. Questions that morning: 860 262 2788. This trip will be cancelled if inclement weather.
This hike will be followed by a luncheon sponsored by the Middletown Rec Office at the pavilion at Crystal Lake park! A separate email will be sent and registration is required but space is unlimited, so come one and all. Even if you're not hiking that morning or never hiked with us but have thought about it.
