Obituary: Alan A. Cyranowicz, 73, of Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Biega Funeral Home) Alan A. Cyranowicz, 73, of Middletown, beloved husband of Elizabeth (English) Cyranowicz, died Sunday June 27, 2021 at his home.

Al was born in Middletown, son of the late Anthony and Marjorie (Dillon) Cyranowicz. Prior to his retirement, Al worked 20 years as a Sales Representative for Home Depot in Southington and 28 years as District Manager for KFC throughout CT.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army, Rank SP4 from 1969-1971. Class of 1966, Woodrow Wilson High School in Middletown and Class of 1969 from Porter School of Engineering Design.

Al was an avid Red Sox and PGA fan and in his past time he also enjoyed tracking the weather, crabbing and making jokes.

He loved animals of all kinds and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Besides his wife, Elizabeth, Al is survived by two sons, Brian Cyranowicz and his wife Beverly of Texas, Adam Cyranowicz of Texas, a daughter, Maureen Adamcik and her husband Jeffrey of Arizona, a brother, Gary Cyranowicz and his wife Blanca of Andover, six grandchildren, Alex Reel, Kaitlyn and Braydyn Cyranowicz, Jessica Ward, Kathryn Adamcik and Ashley Dyvig of Texas, also eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 1st at 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver Street, Middletown.

Friends may call prior to the service from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial with military honors will be held Friday July 2nd at 9 a.m. at the State Veterans’ Cemetery.
