Obituary: Maureen (Perrin) Marchese Ahearn, 81, of Middletown

Maureen genuinely touched the lives of her family and friends. She spent many years working for the City of Middletown.

MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Biega Funeral Home) Maureen (Perrin) Marchese Ahearn, 81, of Middletown, wife of the late, Salvatore Marchese John J. “Jack” Ahearn and companion of many years to the late Sebastian DiModica died Saturday April 10, 2021, at Portland Care and Rehabilitation with her family at her side.

Maureen was born in Meriden, daughter of the late Carleton and Helen (Barry) Perrin. Maureen was a lifelong resident of Middletown. She retired from the City of Middletown in 2009. Maureen touched many lives and will be missed by many.

She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Adams of Waterford, Joanne Cividanes and her husband Milton of Middletown, Colleen Swiridowsky of Middletown, a son, Salvatore Marchese (Bonnie) of Middletown, a sister, Beverly Ghezzi of Middletown, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two brothers Carl and Charles Perrin, and a sister, Lucille Marie Aresco, and a great granddaughter, Lilly Rae Lowe.

Maureen’s family would like to thank the staff of Portland Health Care, especially Shane and Kaitlin who she thought the world of. The family would also like to thank Dr. John Williams who cares for her for many years.

Friends may call on Monday April 19th from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
