Obituary: Reginald Trevelle Wiggins, 50, of Middletown

Reggie, an avid New York Giants fan, music enthusiast and family man, was a member of the Victory Church in Middlefield.

MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Doolittle Funeral Home) Reginald Trevelle Wiggins, 50, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Middlesex Hospital.

Born in Colerain, NC, he was the son of the late Hilda G. Wiggins.

Reggie lived in Harlem, New York most of his life moving to Middletown twenty five years ago. He was a member of Victory Church in Middlefield. He was an avid NY Giants fan and enjoyed music. Most of all, Reggie loved spending time with his family.

Reggie is survived by his daughter, Reanna Wiggins of Middletown; brother, Kerry Wiggins of Lancaster, PA; a sister, Latarsha Wiggins of Bristol and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Along with his Mom, Reggie was predeceased by his sister Shanika Wiggins.

Funeral services will be held on a date to be announced at Victory Church, 191 Meriden Road, Middlefield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Indian Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Reggie’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Connecticut, Inc., 2139 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 208, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
