Obituary: Richard Allen Crane, 70, of Middletown
Richard worked as a CNC machinist with Pratt & Whitney, owned and operated several businesses and served as a deaf ordained minister.
MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Biega Funeral Home) Richard Allen Crane, 70, of Middletown, husband of Angela (Marchese) Crane, died Tuesday May 11, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
He was born in Hartford, the son of the late Russell Crane, Sr. and RoseMarie (Mastranardi) Crane.
Prior to his retirement, Richard was a CNC machinist with Pratt & Whitney, owned and operated several business ventures, was a deaf ordained minister with the Independent Baptist Alliance and a Vice President with the Newington Seniors.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Mario Crane of West Springfield, MA; a brother, Russell Crane, Jr. and his wife Helen of East Hartford; also two nephews, Jason and Kevin Crane.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday (May 18th) at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home on Monday on from 5 to 7 p.m. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to Gifts in Memory of Richard Crane, Yale New Haven Hospital Development, PO Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508.
