Obituary: Richard "Dickie" J. Wall, III, 62, of Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Biega Funeral Home) Richard J. Wall, III, born March 15, 1959 in Middletown, CT, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife and family at his side on May 3, 2021.

He leaves his wife Linda (Hall) Wall of Middletown; son, Richard J. Wall, IV, of Bolton; his mother Theodora (Sylvestro) Wall, brother, Michael and Cordelia, all of Punta Gorda, FL; plus a large extended family.

He was predeceased by his father, Richard, Jr. and daughter Gracie Ann. He retired from the State of Connecticut in 2015.

Dickie, as he was known to his friends and family, was definitely a “people person.” He was very social and never liked doing things alone, preferring to share activities with a friend or two.

Special moments were with his family, especially outdoors like traveling, fishing and camping.

Dickie was noted for his quiet smile and will be missed by many.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday (May 6th) at 11:30 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Middletown.

Family and friends may gather prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.
