Popular Restaurant Offering Free Thanksgiving Meals In Middletown

The restaurant is offering free Thanksgiving dinners available to everyone on Thursday.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A popular restaurant in Middletown will be offering free Thanksgiving dinners available to everyone on Thursday. Whey Station(ary), 544 Main Street in Middletown, has announced that it will be serving Thanksgiving meals for completely free on Thursday as part of its Thanksgiving Outreach project.

Whey Station(ary), which is partnering with Vox Church, will hold two meal times — either 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. — on Thursday, Nov. 28.

“Come and have a seat at our table,” reads a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “The Whey Stationary and Vox Church (along with donations from Lyman Orchards and Albert’s Bakery) are hosting a free thanksgiving meal for anyone and everyone. Stuck at college and can’t make it home, down on your luck, or just lonely? Come eat with us. No need to RSVP.”

Whey Station(ary), which started as a popular food truck, is owned by the husband and wife team of Jillian and Joshua Moskites and features gourmet grilled cheese and tater tots along with fancier items.
