Shootings Investigated In Middletown: Police
Police are investigating two recent shootings in Middletown.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — Police are investigating two recent shootings in Middletown that are believed to be related, according to officials.
“It is known that the parties involved know each other so there is no direct threat to the community,” police wrote in a news release.
The first shooting happened around 10:45 p.m. on April 28 on Maplewood Terrace. Nobody was hit by the gunfire, according to police.

The second shooting happened around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday on Williams Street. A man was shot several times in the leg, police said.
Police said they aren’t releasing the man’s identity while the investigation continues.

The Middletown Housing Authority is assisting detectives with the investigation, according to police.
