Tax Bills Are Due In Middletown

If the first half is not paid on or before Aug. 2, 2021 then it will become delinquent, according to officials.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — (From City of Middletown): The first half of Real Estate, Personal Property and Motor Vehicle taxes on the 2020 Grand List, which covers the taxable year beginning Oct. 1, 2020, becomes due and payable to the City of Middletown on July 1, 2021.

Payment of bills OVER $100 may be made in full or in two installments and bills of $100 or less MUST be paid in full.

If the first half is not paid on or before Aug. 2, 2021 then it shall become delinquent and interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum (1 1/2 percent per month) will be figured from the installment due date of JULY 1, 2021. The Statutory minimum interest charge is two dollars.
