Ted Vigil’s John Denver Tribute at the Kate May 8
Vigil will be performing a John Denver Tribute on May 8, 2021 for two shows at 3 & 8 pm under the state's Phase 3 reopening guidelines.

OLD SAYBROOK, CT - The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, “the Kate”, is pleased to present Ted Vigil on Saturday May 8, 2021 under the State of Connecticut Phase 3 reopening guidelines. He will be performing a John Denver Tribute for two shows at 3 pm and 8 pm.
Ted Vigil’s resemblance to music icon John Denver, who died in 1997 when his experimental aircraft crashed into the Pacific Ocean, is uncanny. Ted, who has been performing since he was 10, as well as writing, recording and performing his original compositions, won a national Talent Quest title as John Denver in 2006. After winning a celebrity look-alike contest, he began planning his John Denver tribute show. Since then Ted has performed as John Denver nationwide, offering some of Denver’s most familiar songs, including “Thank God I'm A Country Boy,” “Calypso,” “Annie’s Song,” “Rocky Mountain High” and “Sunshine on My Shoulders.” He has wowed crowds from coast to coast and has played twice for John Denver’s own “Windstar Foundation” in Aspen Colorado.
Tickets are extremely limited with no more than 85 being sold per performance. All patrons will be required to wear a mask and there will be no intermission.
