Sunday was St. Pius X's welcoming party for its new parishioners and also their new priest Fr. Scott:
On the feast of their parish patron Pope St. Pius X at the 12 Noon Mass they welcomed their newest parishioners and provided an international themed Pot Luck luncheon which followed the 12 Mass. Along with the lunch there was music provided by the parish's "Players": and the PACI (Pilipino Assoc. Of Ct.) Choir and Dancers:Also, the luncheon served as an our opportunity to say “thank you” and “God bless you” to Fr. Erik Lenhart who begins his new ministry at Capuchin Youth and Family Ministry and a welcome to Fr. Scott Surrency to St. Pius and wish him many years of a fruitful ministry as their new priest.
