Xavier, Middletown Stay In Top 10 of High School Wrestling Poll

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The names remained the same, but some positions changed in the most recent Connecticut high school wrestling poll of coaches and sports media members.

Danbury was again the unanimous top selection of all 17 voters. Bristol Eastern maintained its hold on second place, while Fairfield Warde moved up a spot into third.

Xavier and Middletown high schools placed eighth and 10th, respectively, in the most recent balloting.

Here are the top 10, with last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other programs garnering votes.
