2021 Monroe Memorial Day Parade Set For May 30
The annual parade will start at 2 p.m., according to officials.
MONROE, CT — The 2021 Monroe Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, organizers announced, under the theme, "Honoring Our Heroes: Past and Present."
The parade will begin on lower Elm Street and Route 111, and will march to War Memorial at the Town Hall Green, where the town's Memorial Day ceremony will be held immediately afterward.
"There is no rain date for the parade," organizers wrote in a statement (see below). "In case of rain, we will still hold the memorial ceremony on Sunday, May 30th at 2 p.m. in the Monroe Town Hall Council Chambers."
