A Ribbon Cutting at Compounded Solutions Starts Monroe's Day

A Grand Re-Opening:
 All are welcome to a grand re-opening of Compounded Solutions in Pharmacy, in an event sponsored by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce at 9:30 this morning. There will be a ribbon cutting and a continental breakfast at the new 810 Main Street location.

Crafternoon: Today children ages 7-12 will make cozy bug homes at Edith Wheeler Memorial Library at 2 p.m. Perfect for catching the little critters, it gives them a comfy space to relax while you observe them.

Avid Reader Book Club: Discuss this month's book club selection, "Dead End in Norvelt" by Jack Gantos at Edith Wheeler Memorial Library today at 3:30 p.m.

Inside the Box: Kathy Vincent of ArtSmart! Studio will lead an adult art program at Edith Wheeler Memorial Library tonight at 6:30 p.m. It's an evening of sculpture inspired by the work of Louise Nevelson. Working with wooden craft shapes, wood scraps and bits of decorative mill work, participants will create a "shadow box" style assemblage. Registration is required.
