The manager of Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center, 178 Main Street, reported a burglary on Sunday morning.
Sometime overnight, the metal plate protecting a lock on the rear door to the business was pried back and the lock was broken to gain entry, then $400 in start up cash was stolen, police said.
