Car Crashes Into Monroe Home, Catches On Fire

MONROE, CT — A car crashed into a house then fell six feet onto a driveway Saturday around 10:45 p.m.

The car, which was occupied by four people left the roadway and smashed into the house. The car then caught on fire, but firefighters managed to contain the blaze and keep it from spreading into the house, according to the Stepney Fire Department.

Some of the occupants were injured.
