Congressman Jim Himes Hosts Town Hall Meeting In Monroe Monday

Himes, who represents the 4th Congressional District, will hold the meeting in the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library.

MONROE, CT — U.S. Rep. Jim Himes, a Democrat who represents the 4th Congressional District, will host an in-person town hall meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 12, at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe, his office announced.

"After 15 months of telephone town halls and Facebook Lives, I’m thrilled to hold a series of in-person town halls and one virtual town hall starting next week," Himes wrote in an email to constituents. "Congress is working on legislation to rebuild our infrastructure, protect voting rights, and support our country’s economic recovery. With so much important legislation moving through Congress, I want to hear from you."

In addition to Monroe, Himes is also hosting in-person town hall meetings in Ridgefield, Norwalk, Westport and Stamford.
