COVID-19 In Monroe: 6 Deaths, 79 Confirmed Cases

MONROE, CT — The Connecticut Department of Public Health has confirmed that 79 cases of the new coronavirus have been reported in Monroe as of Saturday, and 6 deaths have been attributed to COVID-19.

Connecticut had its 10th consecutive day of fewer coronavirus hospitalizations, but the state also had 97 newly-reported deaths Saturday.

There were 523 new lab-confirmed coronavirus cases out of 2,236 results along with 41 fewer hospitalizations. There have been 29,287 cases, 2,436 deaths and currently 1,551 hospitalizations.
