DUI Arrest Made After Man Found Driving On Rim: Monroe PD
The man failed field sobriety and blood alcohol breath tests, police said.
MONROE, CT — Officers arrested a Newtown man on DUI charges after he was seen driving on a wheel rim for about a mile, according to police.
William Sherman, 69, was spotted driving down Route 25 Feb. 18, according to the Monroe Sun.
He failed a field sobriety test and his blood alcohol level was above the legal driving limit, police said.
