Expect Delays: Roadwork All Week at Monroe Roundabout: DOT

Motorists are being "strongly advised" advised to seek alternative routes.​..

MONROE, CT -- The state Department of Transportation is warning Monroe area motorists that paving of the new roundabout at the intersection of Routes 110 and 111 is likely to cause “significant delays” all this week.

The work will through Friday, July 20.

“Motorists can expect lane closures and alternating one-way traffic on Route 111 between Jeanette Street and Moose Hill Road and on Route 110 between Moose Hill Rd and Route 111. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Monday through Friday),” the DOT said in a release.
