Las Positas College Launches New Half-Day Preschool for Income Eligible Families

(Livermore, CA) - Las Positas College (LPC) in Livermore announces a new half-day preschool program for income eligible families beginning on August 17, 2016 and continuing into May 2017. Registration for the preschool is currently underway. The program will incorporate early childhood development student majors into practicum lab training and work experience training under the guidance of instructors and other early childhood professionals.

The program will be administered through the LPC Child Development Center and will offer high quality early care and education for underrepresented and income eligible preschool aged children and their families. Funded through the California Department of Education, Early Education and Support Division, the program provides free half-day (four hours) preschool for income eligible families who meet the criteria listed at (925) 424-1575 or via email here.
