Man Pleads Guilty To Teen Sex Assault In Monroe
A plea deal calls for prison time followed by probation.
MONROE, CT — A Hamden man pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in a Monroe home and the Milford movie theater.
A plea bargain calls for 30 months in prison followed by 10 years of probation for Ifa Gordon Jr., 24, according to the Connecticut Post. Gordon claimed it was consensual, but under state law 14-year-olds aren't capable of giving consent to an adult.
The girl told her mother and the mother called police.
