Man Sentenced In Fatal Monroe Crash

A man pleaded guilty to negligent homicide after a motorcyclist was killed.

MONROE, CT — A West Haven man was sentenced to a suspended prison term after a motorcyclist was killed following a Monroe crash in 2017.

Dan Falls of New Milford died from injuries weeks after the crash on Route 25, according to the Connecticut Post. Louis Maiorino, 60, had crossed the double-yellow line, but police couldn't come up with an answer about why that happened.

Falls' wife Betty was injured in the crash. Maiorino pleaded guilty to negligent homicide with a motor vehicle.
