Masuk, Jockey Hollow Switch To Pass-Fail Grades

Masuk High and Jockey Hollow Middle School are switching to a pass-fail grade for the fourth quarter.

MONROE, CT — A pass-fail grading system will be used for Masuk High School and Jockey Hollow Middle School students for the rest of the school year.

The state Department of Education approved local districts to use the pass-fail system due to remote learning.

Acting Superintendent Joseph Kobza said in a letter to parents that the school system understands the difficulties families are facing with the coronavirus shutdown and that remote learning presents some challenges, according to the Monroe Sun.
