Monroe Announces Schedule of Road Repairs, Delays

Drainage repair is the main culprit.

MONROE, CT -- Town officials are warning residents about ongoing road work and the impact it will have on traffic throughout the town.

Through Friday, June 8, expect the traffic slow-downs or worse in the following areas:

  • Major : Emergency, School Buses, and Local Vehicle Access Only - Seek Alternate Route
  • Minor: Lane Closure - Expect Some Delays
  • Minimal: Some Alternating Traffic - Minimal Delays

Also: The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be replacing two bridges on Main Street/Route 25 between Judd Road and Brook Street through August 31, 2019. Expect lane closures Monday through Friday from 8 p.m. through 6 a.m., and Saturday through Sunday from 6 p.m. through 10 a.m.
