I love going to work and seeing kids happy faces I don’t have any difficult moments.

Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?

No, I love recycling kids grow so fast they don’t really use their sporting equipment and it costs us parents so much money for our kids to play sports. Then you need to buy them all equipment for the sport they’re going to play so why not save money on it?

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?

Seeing kids faces with their new equipment. They get so excited to start a new sport

What’s the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?

Everyone loves my new store and we were in Newtown for 3 years in 800 square feet, then moved this year to Monroe to a store that’s 3.200 square feet.

How do you deal with difficult customers?

I tell them Dick’s Sporting Goods is in Danbury and they can pay full price for their sporting equipment.

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?

Sports teams bring equipment in so I can sell it so the teams make money. I give families equipment to families who can’t afford to but it for their kids for free. I think all kids should play sports.
