Monroe Man Accused Of Sexual Assault, Giving Alcohol To Minors
The incident reportedly occurred in December, according to Monroe police.
MONROE, CT — A 37-year-old Monroe man was arrested by police this month and charged with sexual assault on a minor in connection with a December incident in which he is also accused of supplying alcohol to juveniles, reported the Connecticut Post.
Thein Ly has been charged with:
- Illegal sexual contact with a minor under 16-years-old
- Fourth-degree sexual assault
- Risk of injury to a minor
- Permitting a minor to possess alcohol
Monroe police said that two juveniles stayed at Ly's home in December, during which time he is accused of sexually assaulting them and providing them with alcohol.

Ly is currently free on bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on April 9.
