Monroe Man Forges, Cashes 5 Checks: Milford Police

Police said the accused also had three active warrants.

MILFORD, CT — A Monroe man, Jason Geslein, 45, of Pastors Walk is accused of forging and cashing five checks totaling over $2,400 in January and February, Milford police said.

He was arrested on a warrant last week. Police said when Geslein was arrested police learned he had three additional active warrants.

Geslein is accused of failing to appear in court on Feb. 27 stemming from a July 2018 arrest in Newtown for motor vehicle charges, police said. Geslein is also accused of two counts of violating his court set probation, police said.

He is charged with five counts of sixth-degree larceny, five counts of first-degree forgery, two counts of violation of probation, and second-degree failure to appear. He was given a $41,500 bond.
