Monroe Resident Wins Scratch-Off Lottery Game Prize
The lucky winner also purchased the ticket locally, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
MONROE, CT — A Monroe resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Wednesday, Farid Dib claimed a winning 30X Cash 8th Edition ticket he purchased at Noble on Monroe Turnpike.
The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in early May, and as of Wednesday, 87 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed. More than 1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53.
