National Night Out: The Monroe Police Department organized a fun family event at Wolfe Park set for tonight from 5 to 9. Meet members of Monroe's emergency services, police officers, firefighters, EMS volunteers, CERT volunteers and more.

Bookworms Book Club: Discuss this month's book club selection, "Sideways Stories From Wayside School" by Louis Sachar at Edith Wheeler Memorial Library today at 2 p.m.

Teen Crafty Afternoons: Incoming 7th-12th graders may stop by the Teen Space at Edith Wheeler Memorial Library  on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons from noon to 4 p.m. during Summer Reading. A different drop-in craft is set up each week. Some supplies may be at the Reference Desk.

Reminder: The Monroe Farmers' Market is this Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.
