Monroe Woman Killed In Shelton Crash
The woman was killed in a crash late Sunday night.

SHELTON, CT — Two people were killed after a crash on River Road Sunday night, according to police.
The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. near Southbank Park. A BMW 5 Series with four occupants and a Toyota Rav 4 with one occupant were involved in the crash, said Detective Christopher Nugent, police spokesman.
The two people killed in the BMW were identified as Lily Pirulli, 20, of Monroe and Adrian Miles, 31, of Ansonia they were declared dead at the scene. Two other occupants from the BMW were taken to area hospitals; one remains in critical condition and the other was treated and released.

The driver of the Rav 4 was evaluated at the scene by EMS and released.
Route 110 was closed until 7 a.m. Monday morning.
