Monroe's Coronavirus Infection Rate Continues To Fall

On Friday, First Selectman Ken Kellogg released his latest report on the status of the coronavirus in town.

The following release updating the status of the coronavirus in Monroe, as of May 28, 2021, is from First Selectman Ken Kellogg:

  • Monroe’s 2-week rolling case rate has dropped slightly, now averaging exactly 1 new case per day.
  • Our 2-week case is 5.1 cases per 100,000 population.
  • As of yesterday’s report, Monroe has had 1,414 cases, and 16 deaths, since the start of the pandemic.
  • We continue to offer vaccination clinics for adults age 18 and over on Wednesdays. Appointments may be made through VAMS, but are no longer necessary. Walk-ins are welcome from 9am – noon.
