Monroe's First Restaurant Week Kicks Off Monday

Restaurants across town will be offering pre-fixed menus and discounted prices all week.

MONROE, CT — In an effort to showcase Monroe as a dining destination in Fairfield County, the town will host its first ever Restaurant Week event. The Monroe Economic Development commission is holding a seven-day promotion for the town's restaurants.

According to a town announcement, value priced dining will take place at participating restaurants. The discounts will include pre-fixed menus, as well as discounts or reduced prices.

“Restaurant Week is a terrific opportunity for us to introduce restaurants to new guests and a great way to revisit restaurants if you’re a regular guest to try something different on their menu," Donna Verdisco, Chairman for the Monroe Economic Development Commission said in a statement.
