Henry, a partially paralyzed Shih-Tzu, was found on Christianna Drive on July 26.
Police believe his back legs may have been injured from being struck by a car or that it could be older damage. Henry is on antibiotics.
The pooch is six-years-old and available for adoption at the Monroe Animal Shelter at 447 Purdy Hill Road. Those who are interested should call the shelter at 203-452-3760.
