What does the nominee do for work?:
Bridgeport Hospital OT now on COVID floor treating patients with muscle atrophy and more.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Single parent of 3 school aged children and 2 adult children whom are both essential workers also; a son who is currently deployed with the Army 82 Airborne and a daughter who is a nursing home nurse working 12 hour shifts and mother herself. Carrie takes care of her girls and helps with her grandson as often as possible while continuing to work long stressful hours at the hospital and although she is burnt out and very concerned for the well being of her entire family she is always positive and looking forward to overcoming this hurdle with the rest of her community. Oh and in her "free time" her and her daughters make masks and scrub caps for essential workers and our community members in need (including people at bus stops on her way to work at the hospital)

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She is like Super Woman without the cape, but instead scrubs, gloves, homemade mask and cap, and always a smile!
