Party in the Park to be held on Sunday, September 23rd!

Join the Monroe Playground Foundation for it's kick off fundraising event to be held Sunday, 9/23 from 12 noon to 4 PM at Wolfe Park.

September 10th, Monroe, CT; Monroe Playground Foundation is excited to announce its kick-off fundraising event for the Kids Kreation Playground Rebuilding Project - Party-in-the-Park - which takes place on Sunday September 23 at Wolfe Park from 12 noon to 4pm.

Party-in-the-Park offers a full afternoon of family-fun, fabulous-food and music! A DJ will be spinning the kids favorite toons all day, and activities include $5 mini golf, and $1 fun-tickets for bounce houses, games, facepainting and more. Economical bracelets good for face painting, unlimited play and one round of mini golf are available for just $15.

MPF invites everyone to come hungry. Delicious food including mouthwatering BBQ and yummy comfort foods from DrewBaQ, awesome pizza from Vazzy’s Pizza Wagon, hand-cut, double-dipped french fries and sandwiches from Fryborg, ice-cold Italian ice and ice cream from Micalizzi’s, and hot, fresh kettle corn from Little Kernel’s Kettle Corn.

The entire event takes place at Wolfe Park, near the Kids Kreation playground. Use the 285 Cutler's Farm Rd entrance where plenty of FREE parking will be available.

According to Marissa Marissa Donnelly, MPF’s fundraising chair, “Based on the community response, we’re expecting a great turn out, and thanks to months of careful planning, we have plenty of fun and food capacity to make sure everyone has a great time! Party-in-the-Park is a fundraising event, but it’s also a great opportunity for the community, volunteers and supporters to learn more about the Kids Kreation Rebuilding project. We look forward to seeing everyone there.”
