MONROE, CT --- Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 this weekend, we asked Patch readers across Connecticut to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies! and part of the fun of motherhood is watching your children grow up and enjoy the same things that you love.

For Monroe mom Patti Ochsendorf, having a lookalike daughter means getting accustomed to having conversations with strangers:

"I have several great pictures of traveling and having a blast with my daughter, Rebecca," Patti told the Patch. "Everywhere we go we get comments about how much we look alike. I always say it’s a good thing she likes me because we get so many comments! We make it a tradition to take pictures of us like these every place we visit."
