Pink Your Neighbors in Support of Breast Cancer Research

Send a flock of flamingos as a fun way to support the search for a cure.

Pink flamingos are returning to town to help the Monroe Women’s Club in their fight against breast cancer.

The club is holding their “You’ve been PINKED” project from Aug. 4 through Sept. 5. For a $15 donation a flock of 10 flamingos will visit your property, your friend or a neighbors for a 2-day stay, anywhere in Monroe.

All proceeds from the 2014 fundraiser will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Connecticut.

Send checks payable to Monroe Women’s Club (a 501-c3 organization) to Jo Ann Bruno, 10 Cobblers Hill Court, Monroe. Be sure to include the Monroe address to be “PINKED.”
