A portion of Hattertown Road was closed Wednesday afternoon, according to the Stepney Fire Department.
MONROE, CT — A portion of Hattertown Road in Monroe was closed Wednesday afternoon after a utility pole fire and downed wires in the roadway, according to Stepney Fire Department officials.
The road was closed between Indian Ledge Road and Knapp Street, and officials said that Eversource crews were alerted.
How long the road will be closed was not disclosed.
