A security camera caught a Stop & Shop cashier stealing money on two different occasions, leading to her arrest on July 26, according to police.
Leigh Antoinette Sabo, 22, of Bona Vista Terrace in Shelton was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 2.
Police said Sabo stole $20 from her cash drawer both times. Her manager was with her in the Loss Prevention Office at the store when police were called at 8:46 p.m., according to the report.
